This delicious and humble slice of pizza brought back lovely memories from my childhood. It deserves 10 stars

I placed my order through grub hub and I live less then 10 miles away. When I was expecting my order I got a call letting me know La Vals cancelled my order because I was out of its delivery area?  Grub hub apologized and gave me 20% off and a refund. Not sure why this restaurant is in business if they just cancel orders without any advanced notice. Never will order from them again probably disgusting anyways.

I love their pizza!  It's usually delivered hot and perfect.  I've tried a lot of pizza joints, and La Val's pizza is really consistent. The sauce is rich and flavorful and the crust is the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy.  The whole pizza gets eaten, I often discard the outer rim at places like Round Table. They're more generous with the toppings than Pizza Hut, or Little Ceasar's. Mr. Pizza Man has a lot of toppings too, but their crust is way too soggy.  I don't like droopy pizza. I usually get the La Val's Special or the Vegetarian Special.  The only miss I've had was with the Margherita pizza,  the tomatoes they used had no flavor. They were so watery. I wish they'd use heirloom tomatoes for that one. I have also tried the spaghetti Bolognese, Spinach Ravioli with Marinara and the Mushroom Ravioli. All were delicious. The desserts are decent and the salads are a good size.  The prices are pretty good too.
