I was dining alone and didn't like my table location in a corner against the wall by the entrance, however on my request they switched my table when a better located one became available. We really like this place. We stayed at the Hotel for my birthday and had a good meal at Larks. I do have a couple of comments. I had the meatloaf, which was amazing except for the glaze. It was made from dates which made it way too sweet for my taste. The roasted carrots were hard and tough as well, but these two things did not keep me from enjoying the food. Just a couple of observations. My wife had the house made pappardelle with sage cream and house made bacon. Awesome . If you are in Ashland looking for great food in a very Covid sensitive atmosphere, give Larks a shot.
