Food is so good, bread is fresh and everything is seasoned so subtly but profound. Grateful to find this place and will absolutely be back.

As a cuban from Miami, FL visiting I can honestly say the food was beyond disappointing. I ordered the pollo empanizado (breaded chicken steak) with rice, beans and maduros (sweet plantains). Hands-down the BEST Cuban restaurant in Atlanta. Gorgeously converted from an old historic house, Lazaro's Cuban Cuisine is located in Roswell, Ga, just 10-15 minutes north of Atlanta. Owner, Lazaro Tenreiro, brings Cuba to life at the dinner table, making my 40 minute drive to dine here always worth it. Laden with vibrant Cuban art, you'll want to walk around and check out what cool stuff is hanging on every wall. Incidentally, it may be the cleanest restaurant I've ever eaten in. Somehow you can't help but notice this fact. The inside consists of three separate, intimate dining rooms. Larger parties can be accommodated. On my last visit, a holiday party of of 20 people ended up with their very own dining room! Seems easy for them to tweak table sizes and configurations, but I'd call ahead to arrange.   If the weather permits, eat outside under the huge, dreamlike tree situated in the center of the newly-constructed deck.  Sometimes, live Cuban music is performed on the adjoining deck. And again, this patio is also, like, sup...
