This place is amazing! I am super picky about my macrons and this place totally exceeded my expectations. First off, the store itself is soo cute! It’s like you’re in a real Macron store in Paris. Secondly, the texture is perfect. There is a hard crunchy surface and once bitten, it is super soft and chewy, exactly how a macron should be. Lastly, they have so many flavors and they are delicious. 10/10 recommend(: Will be returning soon.

Macarons are like a doily--pretty to look at, a pain to make, and they don't taste very good. I'm giving Le Bon Macaron 4 starts based completely on aesthetic, which I rarely do, but I don't want to let my personal bias towards macarons get in the way of getting a cute, perfectly designed cafe. I can picture myself meeting up with friends for a cup of hot tea during the winter, even though I wasn't infatuated with their macarons. They have a really cool location downtown, which is very clean with super nice staff. They even do the cutest little packages around the holidays with themed flavors. As far as the macarons go, they all really tasted the same to me. The sugar was overwhelming and the described flavors couldn't come through the wave of sweetness. I think this is likely just how macarons are. I mean, cupcakes are the superior sweet and they cost is better for what you get. I saw in the prior reviews that Le Bon used to have other sweets, like cream puffs. I would come to the cafe if I could find one of those in their case, but unfortunately they have limited their baked goods to macarons only.
