We wanted to love it but it ultimately seemed overrated. Great for drinks but the food was just okay. Very limited menu.

Interesting menu, good food. It doesn't really feel Californian Mexican to me. Food was flavorful, but it felt like some of it was a flex (lobster didn't exactly add much to an already great plate of nachos). Duck could have been rendered a bit more and the amount of red cabbage was way overkill. Peas and carrots with the lamb appetizer didn't make a whole lot of sense. $200 bill with $40 entrees, but they don't take AmEx...? Really great service was a highlight and so we're the drinks. I was ready to love this place, but I think there are a lot of other great options in Asheville.

First time in Asheville and tried to get reservation for Cúrate, However, they didn't have anything available. Stumbled on Limones restaurant and luckily they seated me without reservations since I arrived just after opening. The lobster nachos and lamb dinner was AMAZING! Things happen for a reason which led me to this restaurant. What a great find and didn't disappoint!
