Linguini's Pasta & Vino in Alameda

It's March 10 and the restaurant has been open for one week and a half since immediately closing after the initial claim a Covid response in March. None of the original staff remain manager or otherwise. The restaurant has been re-done the old wooden bar with mirrors and multiple TVs are gone, a new brick wall Covers that space in the whole area has been repainted. The original memorabilia with the sports celebrity is etc. have all been removed, the walls are all painted boring beige. Menu has been simplified to a one page of paper print out, pizza appears to be of the same quality crust and sauce or what I remember. The old stuff is what kept me coming back I will have to search out where they landed if they are indeed still in the restaurant industry. Linguinies is now a bit more upscale with less if not any of a child's birthday party place, no more video games and large projection TV. I wonder if they will still do an all you can drink Mimosa's on football Sundays, many regulars will likely look for a new destination.

Ok so I’ve been coming here with my family for over 3 years and today the 3/6/21 we came to eat and found out that the owner has changed let me tell u guys that before the food was great and today when we came the food was not good. I mean we ate but it was not good and they only gaved us 25 % off on are bill witch I mean ok but why charge us for the food that we didn’t eat that did not Taste good I mean I guess but if u tell me I won’t be coming back I mean I spit the food like hello that tell u all how how I didn’t like the food. And to tell u guys the truth this was the best pasta place me and my family liked to eat and now not no more .

Really good pasta, I've been coming here for a minute they make delicious pasta! I love the spaghetti and meatballs, I've had pasta In NY and they make it just like they do so I totally recommend it!
