Entered Local 463 at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, having just left a business meeting. Button down shirts and slacks.The front desk promptly showed us to a table. Before we were even seated, another employee walked over and told both us and the waiter that the kitchen was closed. The waiter appeared as stunned as we were..No explanation, no apologies. Chef Emerson reached out after this post and explained the situation that I am afraid many are experiencing during these. Covid times. He kindly offered gift cards, which I declined. Chef Emerson is obviously a caring person who is passionate about his business, his employees, and his customers. Kinda rare these days.I look forward to a return visit.
