Pozole Verde. I didn't have high hopes, but, the pozole verde here was good. Spicy from the Poblano chiles. Maybe 2-3 small pieces of chicken. Pozole properly cooked and tender. Wacky pumpkin seeds added for some reason. $7 for the "bowl" which is only about a 12 fluid ounce serving.

Really good all in all! I got the “crunchy chicken” and my boyfriend for the “bahn mi” with a side of potato salad and chips. The potato salad was good but it definitely had too much stuff going on and not enough potato. The chips were good but some were salty.

I eat at Local Foods periodically. Today (2/1/21), I was very disappointed with my visit to Local Foods - The Heights. They are known for their healthy food so you would think they would keep their restaurant super clean. WRONG. I sat down at a table & it was dirty. There were streaks of a dark drink left on the table. I started to clean it & realized that was the wrong choice during Covid. I assumed it was an oversight so I moved to a new table. This one had crumbs on it. Seriously? Are they not cleaning the tables? I complained & the manager said she would get those tables cleaned. So I grabbed more napkins & noticed that my 1st dirty table still had the dirty napkins on it that I had left there. Then I started to sit at my THIRD tab...
