Good food with Boca Price. I understand this is a nicer place, and their presentation is pretty. But it is oily American food to me, not my favorite.

The hostess who sat us was great and a good singer enhanced our dining experience. Also our seats were comfortable.... but that's kind of where the good ends and that's too bad because Loch Bar is such a likeable Mizner Park restaurant. The menu selections though predictable are good and prices are what you would expect. But... my lobster roll was not fresh, like really not fresh and I can't figure out how it made it from the kitchen to our table. Is there any quality control? The kitchen had to know it was bad lobster and when the lobster roll is one of the restaurant's staples it makes the blunder even worse. A few other items we had were at best average. However Loch Bar does really good sliders and burgers and because of that it warrants a two star rather than one. The Loch Bar is conveniently located near my house and perhaps the bad lobster was just anomalous and because of that I might go back.
