Enthralling sensory experience that's difficult to fully capture through photos alone. Every taste was perfect and each wine pairing was divine. Many thanks to our waitress and sommelier for their top notch, attentive service. While I was here to celebrate a job promotion and appreciated the congratulatory desserts at the end of the meal, I can't wait to return, especially to sample and experience the menu as it evolves for each season. Yet another outstanding Richmond, VA, fine dining experience that lives up to high expectations! I also appreciated their Covid precautions and vaccine requirement. Th...

Amazing expirience in the Longoven.Sat there for the bar "stay a while" expirience.Had an amazing food offering, the tasting menu at rug bar was so on point, and as got as it is, it matched perfectly with the cocktails crafted by Andrew at the bar. From the local specials, (pieces in place, sun witch) through all times classics (amazing Negroni and sharp old fashion) and through some completely off the menu hits like a great Absinthe anise infused cocktail and fresh lime drink. Can't wait to return already.See you guys in the spring.

We were invited by friends for the NYE tastings. We had the all veggie 9 course treat, which was 7 savory bites and 2 dessert bites. So amazing! So many elegant flavors and an amazing display of what can be done with just veggies (and showing me how lazy so many chefs are because creating real vegetarian options isn't really that hard). We got a bottle of cider from Charlottesville to have with the meal.So many wine options; some beer, coffee and spirits; and a few non-alcoholic spirits to settle anyone's tastes. We sat outside on their covered patio, which was a roof but open sides, with a few of those big propane heaters nearby. The service overall was absolutely delightful. They do require folks be fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID test taken within 72hrs of visiting before dining with them. I look forward to going again to enjoy the full dining experience!
