Food is flat out awesome. I've had carnitas super nachos and quesabirria tacos. Both were really good, especially given the price. Highly recommend as a go-to Mexican joint

In his "No Reservations" episode in Argentina, the late Anthony Bourdain said, "Any food that has red grease coming from it is good," and I couldn't agree more. As a fan of savory and spicy foods, I have always been drawn to food with red-hot colors, especially red grease. I've eaten a lot of different foods that have that delicious red hue, but I've finally found it in a burrito. The A La Diabla shrimp burrito at Los Cantaros Taqueria in Emeryville is officially my favorite burrito. It's spicy, it's red, it's got shrimp and veggies, and rice, and it all comes together in this bundle of delicious flavors. If you like spicy, and you like burritos, give this a try. But have lots of napkins ready, for that beautiful red grease!
