I wouldn’t order anything here to go or thru them because they charged me the day of and then re charged me for my order the whole next day when I call the manager refuses to come to the phone and the girl who answered the phone was incredibly rude and replied with he said he’ll call you idk when tho so don’t ask and then said if I don’t trust her than that’s my issue and what do you know nobody called me back

My cousin is from out of town, and has been working in Albuquerque for the movie industry for the past couple of months. He wanted to take me out for dinner, and I suggested Los Cuates. The Los Cuates on Menaul is closest to my house. We came in, and asked how long the wait was. The young girl at the door said it's about a 30 min wait. So my cousin asked her if we could sit in the bar area, and she said no, it's only for people who are drinking. There were two people sitting at the bar cutting into their enchiladas. So then about twenty min later a couple come walking in, and asked how long is the wait and then asked if they could sit at the bar. They walked into the bar, and the bartender hands them two menus. I got up and asked the young lady, I thought you said only people who are drinking can sit in there? She didn't say anything and ignored me. So I watched the restaurant manager  walking around and kept staring at me with a mocking smile. When we finally got seated, I ordered their fiesta salsa, because I can't eat the regular salsa that they serve. That manager comes over, and asks me in a mocking tone, is there some food allergy that we need to know about? I'm very disappointed with the service we got, and the way that we were treated. I'm embarrassed that I suggested to eat there. I have been eating at Los Cuates and giving them my business for over thirty years. I know this particular location hasn't been here that long, but even when it was a hole in the wall cafe off of Lomas, their service was far better than what my cousin and I experienced tonight.
