This unassuming neighborhood market has The best Carnitas in Sonoma county. In fact if you're in neighboring counties come check out these Carnitas. A wonderful family owns this store they have groceries, a butcher and you can get prepared food there as well. I'm telling you if you don't get the Carnitas you'll have FOMO every time you go to eat a taco.

Holy delicious. You want authentic? This is it. Best carnitas I think I've ever had. My only sadness is how much weight I will gain by making this my new normal meal stop on 101.

We were rolling through Cloverdale on a weekend motorcycle trip and we were hungry. We saw Los Pinos Deli in front of us, so we stopped. I wish I had realized the evidence of a serious Latino bbq chef and not ordered a standard turkey sandwich *durp*. We parked on the street and directly behind our bikes were a few large smokers and cauldrons with piles of mesquite and dogwood. In my defense, the smokers weren't currently in use, so the smell didn't tip me off. After we ordered from the kind ladies inside and got our sandwiches, we sat at one of the outdoor tables. Al, the owner came out and we started chatting. He said, "my Carnitas is the best around", and then asked if we wanted to try some? "Um...yes, please!" He went inside and came out with a baseball sized chunk of Carnitas, and we went to work on it. He wasn't lying....it was SCRUMPTIOU...
