Dropped in lastnight with my pop. (new location on Menaul) place looks familiar, not much of a change to the layout since it was JJ's (still miss them). Well that's not totally true, the table layout is a little different, and the menu of course is different. Got the tamale plate, and my dad got the relleno plate. all in all it was not the most kick me in the pants amazing new mexican food i've ever had, but it was solid and good. the green chile had good flavor, the relleno had a good flavor and the cheese was great. the tamales were smallish but tasty, the beans needed a little salt(better than too salty), and the spanish rice was fluffy and good, no burned or dried grains.
