my boyfriend and i decided to order in some fried chicken! we chose louisiana famous fried chicken, because who doesn't want to eat at a place that is self proclaimed famous? we ordered the 8 piece chicken, and that came hot and crisp, mild heat, and nice juiciness. it was nothing atypical from your normal fried chicken. there wasn't much to rave about it came with two sides, which we picked the mashed potatoes, which were nicely seasoned, and lightly kissed with gravy. they had pieces of skin which i enjoy personally. the second side was dirty rice, which were above average, and not overpowered with gaminess. my boyfriend also got a shrimp po boy, which he enjoyed. nothing special, but nice flavor and nice assortment of offerings inside the sandwich (lettuce pickles etc.). WE DIDN'T GET OUR ROLLS overall nice experience, i enjoyed the fact it came piping hot from delivery. adding in choices of sauce could heighten the experience.
