Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken in Houston

Trash. First time going on a whim and I get asked for which side I want. Told them, got my order and was missing my side. Went for lunch during work and regretted it immediately. Called 7 times , phone kept ringing and no one answered. Recommend if you want to pay for a full meal and receive a third of it. Perfect for those who like to get ripped off. The wait wasn’t bad but I guess that’s only because they didn’t plan to give me my whole meal. 0/10

This place has great food HOWEVER!!! The reason for the 2 stars is because, its displayed on Google & their door they close at 10p Today I arrived at 9:34p & they were closed!!! Not to mention the employee's state's their grill & the inside closes at 9p again I arrived before 8:47p and was told the grill is closed ... Ok Great food but geez GET IT TOGETHER!!!

We actually went to another restaurant to try out the fried fish/soul food, but it was closed being a Sunday.  As we were planning on a plan B, my eyes spotted Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken in the same shopping strip center.  They actually had drive through service and I parked about 10 feet away to give my eyes enough strength and visibility to still be able to view the menu before I walked into the restaurant. They had quite a bit of daily specials and other specials posted on the windows of the restaurant.  There were too many specials, LOL.  I had already decided for the "Big Deal", which consisted of 8 pieces of fried chicken, 4 pieces of fried catfish, 7 fried shrimp, 3 rolls and a large side, which I opted for French fries.  The whole deal was $19.99 and could easily feed 3-4 people, but we were a party of 2 and finished it all.   The food was good.  Chicken was crispy, slightly over fried as you can tell by the picture.  Catfish was marinated and fried...
