Had the fried chicken. Very crispy, hot and tasty! Definitely would get again. Also got the hamburger mix plate with beef curry. Teri steak on point. Curry had a slight kick to it and the beef was very tender.

Tried M & M BBQ for the first time. To be very honest it was really good. M & M BBQ is the definition of "hole in the wall," which means it is a very unassuming establishment with three 4-top tables, hand written special menus, and the typical mom and pop running the cash only eatery. The food is very good, and really reasonable. We ordered the regular BBQ mixed and BBQ short rib plate lunches. Both meals set us back a mere $20.00. The BBQ mix consisted of three pieces of boneless bbq chicken, one large piece of teriyaki meat and one portion of kalbi, along with two scoop rice and Mac salad. The BBQ short rib had three good size marinated short rib, along with rice and mac. The meats were flavorful and tender without being over marinated. Wait time was minimal, and parking was a breeze. There are many plate lunch places in the Pearl City/Aiea area, but none can compare with the quality and pricing of M & M BBQ.
