Fantastic place, totally unexpected experience for Alaska. You would never expect the sophisticated interior from the outside. We tried to reserve for the show but it was sold out, but we asked at the door and the friendly person at the door took down my number and said she'd text if someone was a no-show - sure enough, there was a no-show and we got a table (you can also stand and still see the show if you don't have a table - website doesn't make that totally clear). Cocktail waitresses and bartenders were efficient and very friendly. The show was really well done. I just can't say enough how impressed I was. Also, the drink prices were quite reasonable for this sort of place. One note, I might call this sort of a queer/pansexual/anyone-and-everyone sort of space than a gay bar per se. If you are looking for a standard gay bar, the Raven would be the place to go.

The worst place ever. I honestly thought LGBTQ+ would be welcome. Not welcoming at all to visitors. I guess you must be a regular to be treated well. I waited at the bar...totally ignored. Decided to wait in line for a drink. Bartender looked at me and was so rude. I did call him an a hole as he ignored me but he truly was. I realize LGBTQ+need a place but I wouldn't recommend there. Very sad.

The food is fantastic, specialty drinks are super fun and the new decor is perfect! Mad Myrna's is a gem of a place.
