I went in with delusions of shopping for plushies, I left with pretty darn good takoyaki. These accursed supply chain issues likely make import stores like this one even harder to manage. I'll be back for some staple ingredients to make miso soup and okonomiyaki.

doesn't take EBT for groceries. The H-Mart in the area actually has a better selection of Japanese groceries and DO take EBT.

Absolute favorite place to shop for Asian groceries currently, but also the restaurant half is awesome. Not only have I tried and enjoyed everything on their menu at least once, but I also try to make a point of doing a rice balls stop whenever I can, usually picking up a bento at the same time while I'm at it. Oh! And every end of the year (for at least the past three or so years I've known of them), they take osechi preorders, which are an extra fancy kind of bento full of stuff that mean things like wishes for good fortune and health and other blessings for the upcoming new year. Preorder the bento, pick it up a day or two before New Year's, to enjoy either New Year's Eve or New Year's Day! Also, there is a massive Totoro at the storefront who may have seen better days, but is still plenty cute for selfie-taking with. I'd post my selfie as pro...
