There is something delightful about being able to recognize all of the ingredients in the dish that you ordered, but given those same ingredients in your own kitchen you know you couldn't replicate the dish. That is how I felt about my street corn and shrimp tostada at mambo seafood. It was simple but extremely delicious and I'm so happy that I braved the strange frontage roads of Texas to have dinner there. The only mystery that remains was the frozen margarita: definitely frozen, but whether it actually contained tequila we'll never know
