A really disappointing dining experience. I've never been unhappy whenever I splurge for a high end dining experience until I went to Maslow's. The dining room was up to par, the service was great. However, the food (most important part of the meal) was not good. The dry aged steak didn't have the richness you'd expect and the cook on two of them were way off. And dry, tasteless, fingerling potatoes for a side; really? The chocolate torte was about a half an inch tall and you couldn't taste the torte because there was more rich ganache than torte. First and most important, the staff is amazing. Waiters, house manager all above board excellent. That said, the chef and the new prix fix menu are problematic. It made trying to order around my food allergies *very* stressful. My daughter had the dry aged New York, my husband and I had the bison. I should have asked what cut the bison was before I ordered it, sirloin maybe??? Her NY steak was ordered med rare and was delivered on the well side of medium.
