It would have or should have been a 4 or 5. Small town, the usual customers get preferential treatment. Toby and I were finally tired of hiding in the house. Decided to try a new BBQ place in Alvarado. We live close by, support the locals. Massey's BBQ. Outdoor seating, nice and quiet. Enjoy the cool temps. 15 minutes later. surrounded by construction workers finally sitting right next to me. We just got up and left, left half our lunch on the table. Food was good, best Mac and Cheese I have had at a restaurant, staff was polite. Too bad first impressions mean so much. Doubtful if we will be back. $8.00 of food left sitting on the table, not their fault, but not mine...
