This is an easy-off/easy-on gas and groceries resource for freeway travelers, but the customer service is lacking. Gas stations with convenience stores typically offer the same amenities, so what makes certain ones great is the customer service. I can't recommend this particular Maverick, the service is that BAD. I stopped for the last time on a recent Sunday, late afternoon. All the hot food machines were empty and turned off, so I stepped up to the small Mexican food kiosk. A worker trotted over, flipped off the lights and said, "The grill is closed!" So, I stepped over to the hot chocolate dispenser - empty! The worker gave me a stern lecture when I mentioned it was empty. The workers at this place seem to despise their customers! Note: there's a Flying J just south of town where the customer service is excellent!

Great drinks, great service, good snack selection. And the food is better than it has any right to be. This is my go to gas station.
