The quality has gone downhill here. Place a order for take out. Got home to find a sandwich was wrong and inedible (supposed to be vegi and was some sort of turkey). The Mac and cheese looked like it was days old and the nachos basket came with a laughable amount of cheese. If you want a real good sandwich go across the parking lot to Bubs subs. I know I will not be going back to McAllister.

Never been, today stopped in for lunch and I was quite surprised! The sandwich I had was excellent!! Salad was pretty good, only issue I would say was they did forget my kids apple juice and the kids pizza was kind of soggy but nothing that'll keep me from going again. My son will just try a grilled cheese instead next time :)  also!! Staff was extremely fast and friendly

I tried the new McAlister's Deli on Algonquin on Saturday. The line was literally out the door, but it was okay, because it gave me time to go through the huge menu. They charge an extra $0.50 to change the type of cheese on the sandwich, which we didn't know until after we paid. My sandwich was missing at least one ingredient, and the meat seemed a bit skimpy. My husband and daughter liked their meals, although my husband did say that his seemed a bit small. The sweet tea was good. The larger tables were all full, mostly with just two people or people waiting for take out orders, so three of us had to sit at a table for two -- not the restaurant's fault, but still annoying. And despite only being open for two weeks, the table wobbled.Overall, we might try it again after the novelty wears off, but Bubs Subs will still be our go-to place for a great sandwich!
