I was picking up an order for a customer and knew from my pick up last week that I had to give the cashier my order # upon arrival to have it sent to the kitchen. The guy told me no it will be over there (@ the pick up area). After standing there for 5 to 10 minutes someone asked what I was waiting on because they didn't have anymore orders. I told her and she said, "oh you have to give us your order number when you get here because the online/app orders don't always come through on their own!" I explained that I attempted to do that upon my arrival but was told the order would be over there (pick up) when it was ready." Once the order was put through it was ready quickly but the experience was frustrating!!

Everyone who has ever worked at McDonald's knows what you're doing: you hold the drive-thru line so that all of the waiting is done before the customers place their orders. This makes your drive-thru times look good, when you are the SLOWEST store anyone has ever seen!
