We entered the taverna at 12;15 pm and were met with a strong smell of ammonia as a staff member was mopping the floor. Not a good thing. This was by far the best quarantine takeout meal we have had in months. Not only did the food taste unbelievable, but they were amazing about catering to specific allergies within my family (we have a gluten free and dairy free in the household). When we opened up the containers, the food was still hot and tasted as if it had just come out of the kitchen. We have come here twice so far and have not been disappointed. Meraki Taverna is a MUST try!!! We can't wait to go in person one day. Favorite dishes include the mussels, shrimp, and spanakopita.
