Ordered egg sandwich and coffee. Coffee came half full, had to wait 5 minutes to get coffee added.   No hash Browns so they auto-subbed fries.  The fries were CLEARLY "reheated" from last night.  Lukewarm starchy, disgusting blobs of potato. The egg sandwich was the worst though.  This wet, slimy blob of egg on a mushy bun and lukewarm cheese wouldn't be served in the cruelest of Soviet gulags for being a violation of Geneva convention protocols. The staff seemed to care about as much as a could be expected from a place serving glorified prison food. It took 30 minutes to get my refund processed. Seriously, listen to the reviews.  I would rather eat a bullet than sit down at this crapfactory again.

Been here a few times and always swear I'm never coming back. The food itself is fine, but they have forgotten something on my sandwich each and every time I have visited.... And I'm clearly not the only one because many other customers were complaining about mixed up orders while waiting. Unfortunately, the food options in the southwest terminal are limited, but avoid if you have the time.

There aren't many choices at DCA terminal A, but Meridian Deli looked promising. I ordered the Turkey Club with a side of coleslaw. At Meridian Deli you place your order on an iPad and once you finish you hand your credit card to an employee for payment. It was an interesting experience because I had the opportunity to browse all the menu options with pictures and a detailed description. The turkey club was very good, but the coleslaw was too finely cut. I didn't like the texture, it was akin to eating the baby food version of coleslaw. The price was what you'd expect at an airport. I would have been satisfied with just the club, and considering that would have been under 10 bucks -- not too bad!
