The best Mexican food in town. The Salas they make and sell are amazing. My husband will drive across town to get some.

No just no. If I can leave zero stars I would. We got the tacos de carne asada and carnitas and pollo frito. You can tell the chicken was fried hours before. It was hard not fresh tasting. The avocado was BLACK. At what point does the person putting the plate together say this avocado is bad ?? Carne asada was so chewy and lacking flavor. The carnitas were bland and dry. Ordered them with cilantro and onion and I had lettuce and tomato. Save your money - go on Pinterest and find recipes and make them at home. Spent 40 dollars on food that went into the trash.

Some years ago I met the owner of Mexico in Alaska Restaurant in San FranciscoCA Mexican Consulate. I was surprised to learn that there was a good place to eat nice Mexican food in Anchorage as I know the lady owner was a good cook. Former Mexican Consul for Press and Trade in SF.
