As an avid fan of chicken teriyaki, there is a wide range of how this dish can be prepared, especially in terms of the cut of chicken, how the meat is prepared and cooked, and the specifics of the sauce itself (thickness, sweetness, etc.). Granted, there are definitely personal preferences around those, but there are clear tiers that separate restaurants. Having tried several places on the Eastside, I can say that Midori has consistently been in my top tier in terms of quality and value if you're looking for teriyaki. Portions are plentiful, and the sauce is exceptionally balanced. Service is very friendly, and if you are dining in, there are many nice touches like how the water station is set up. The only complaint if I had to give one is that it takes some time to get your food, but you can easily order ahead. Parking is very plentiful. Would highly recommend,...

New to this neighborhood, not my favorite teriyaki ever, but when I want to grab something close to home this is my first choice. I tend to stick with the standard fare, (chicken and beef teriyaki). But now that I've been a few times, I want to try more of their menu. Good food, nice people, reasonable prices, my local favorite!

Great food. Very clean place with a very broad selection: teriyaki, sushi rolls, tempura and Chinese dishes! The chicken teriyaki was excellent, tender and delicious. The only negative thing I can say is that I think it's overpriced. Cheapest teriyaki is $10 and prices go up from there - the bento box is $16. Most menu items seemed to be $1.50 to $2.00 higher than what I am used for teriyaki in this area. I often go to Tokyo Gardens in Mill Creek and I would say both places have similar, high-quality food, but TG is a better value. You can't go wrong eating at Midori Teriyaki, you'll enjoy something tasty!
