Located in an over 100 year old bank  building, on Main Street. Heard and read of the good food, along with generous portions. Not disappointed! The decor on one side of the place is great- brick walls and arches.service could not have been any better! Shared a 3? Piece walleye special, with fries, along with a steak grinder. 4. 5 pieces of fish - lightly battered. Very good. The grinder - probably a foot long - loaded with tons of meat and toppings! Lots of fries !  Saw mike - working hard, cooking in the kitchen. Think I will need to come back - try other items on menu. $32- included 4 of the coldest bottles of beer I have ever had - and tip.also have 1/2 sandwich- for leftovers.

If you order pizza you can expect to wait longer then normal. But it is worth it. The food is great. The service is exceptional. We like Mikey's.

We were driving through Almont and thought we would try Mikey's. It was late Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. It did take a few minutes to get someone to tell us to seat ourselves. We did quickly have a waitress come to our table and take our drink order. We ordered appetizers, a burger, and the Rueben grinder. It did take a little bit but the waitress was friendly, attentive, and honest that it would be awhile. Fried pickles were really good and the fried cauliflower had a nice breading (2-3 very large pieces were on the verge of having some raw dough in the middle but still good!) and a good portion for the price. My burger was a good bar burger and HUGE. The grinder was even more HUGE and was absolutely amazing. I would not normally order a reuben but thought it was amazing and if we stopped in again, I'd probably get it. The corned beef was so tender and the bread was great. Totally worth the wait!
