MISSION BBQ in Aquia Harbour

This was the second Mission BBQ we've eaten at. The brisket here was much better than the location in Fredericksburg - lean and moist and tender. The pulled pork was good too. The baked sweet potato was cooked perfectly and the cheesy potatoes were hot and very cheesy.My biggest issue with Mission BBQ is that they don't have platters. Everything is a la carte. It works would be nice if they had a platter with some number of sides.

Had our family Christmas Eve meal catered from here. Order was perfect, on time, staff was courteous, professional, food was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

So incredibly disappointed in Mission BBQ!!TL;DR: We ordered for a 50% larger party and received ~half the food! They showed up with no racks and no stenos in spite of it being requested. We absolutely did NOT get our money's worth.Our first time catering our party with Mission BBQ was great!! This time it was anything but! We love supporting veteran-owned business but this time I really regret it.We ordered for a party of 60, and paid accordinly (~$900!!). This was a 50% larger order than last time we ordered from M. BBQ. It was needed because this was to be the largest party we've ever hosted. Unfortunately we received ~HALF the food than we did for the previous 40 person party!!I can't tell you the exact quantities we received, but I can tell you this: We don't take vacations, instead we host two parties a year. We'd rather invest in great memories with family and friends. Point is we have done this a few times (though not always with Mission BBQ).Every party we've hosted over the last 4 years (seven with one more to go this year) has been catered and every single time we had far more food.
