I've never had anything bad there. It's the kind of place where there are no strangers. You can walk in by yourself and suddenly find locals (locos) pulling up chairs to regale you with the history of the Saxons who came here in the 1830s. The Saturday night ribeye special is as good as you'd find in a place with linen tablecloths and more than one fork.
