When you stop into Miyi La Cubanita Cuban Café it gives you the feeling that you really are in Cuba. First off I don't even think the place has air conditioning, which would be common in Cuba. But even though 100F degrees outside when I was there, it didn't seem all that bad. The décor and atmosphere would be best described as Cuban Truck Stop with a big cement or porcelain like chicken out front, a large dining counter and some booths with wobbly seats. However all these factors of Cuban oddity sort of add to the overall charm of the place. The best thing however is its food and its prices. I had their Cuban sandwich, a bowl of chicken soup and a coke at their combo price of less than $10.00 which made it a total bargain and better yet, the food was great. The soup came sided with slices of lemon which seems to be Cuban traditional for this dish of reddish colored soup and when add to the soup, it seem to bring out a certain fragrance and enhancement of the flavors.
