Serious gem of a restaurant for the Seattle area. The owner and staff are very friendly and make you feel like family when dining there! The Pescado Mojito is an incredible dish! Almost regret writing this review because I want to keep it a secret!

My first time here. I got the Parrilla. Unfortunately the meat was just a bit overdone and chewy and not the most flavorful - not sure how long it was marinated but it was still ok so I would take off half a star.Every other aspect of the meal was superb. The mojito was perfectly balanced, just what you want on a warm day. The black beans were tasty, the rice was moist. The smashed fried plaintains dipped in the mojos might have been the star. Those sauces were so yummy!The service was great, they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I have not heard so much laughter in a restaurant in a long time so I give them back the half star and highly recommend.I don't live close (if I did I would be there every week) so I look forward to my next visit when I am in the area. Next time I will get lechon or a sandwich.
