Bartenders will over charge you so always count what you order, they will never be honest and blame you for their mistakes.

I like alot of the items on their menu. They are as close as you get to Mexican American. Food is tasty and well made always.

We really wanted to love this place because everyone working there was so sweet and accommodating, and it's an old mom-and-pop business, but we really cannot recommend Molina's Cantina in good faith. We actually had to send back the frozen margarita (it was that bad), and when a rocks replacement sat on the table untouched, our waitress got the hint and took it away and off the bill of her own accord. The queso was G-R-O-S-S :( but the house salsas were good. Dinner was better though. One of us got the tortilla soup and it was delicious--certainly the best dish. The broth was flavorful with nicely shredded chicken, and there was also a fresh pico, a wonderful accompaniment. The enchiladas de tejas plate had some nice refried beans, but the enchiladas themselves were just boring ground beef drowned in sauce. Our daughter got her usual quesadilla and it was a better-than-average plate. We're happy we tried this place once and supported an institution that's about to get badly hit during the corona crisis, but we won't be back and wouldn't recommend it, as much as it pains us to say.
