Momiji SLU in Seattle

Service was very attentive and food was delivered quickly.   Rolls were salty, salad was good but felt like it was trying too hard to be different vs tasty.   Calamari was dry and small but sauce was good.  With all the other great spots not one to rush back too sadly

My boyfriend and I came here during happy hour and had reservations - we were so happy with our experience here! We ordered three things off of the happy hour menu and 2 specialty rolls. I also ordered a cocktail and they were all delicious! The restaurant had huge glass windows that let in a lot of natural light, and the interior was really open and modern. Both indoor and outdoor seating was available. We loved having dinner here and would definitely come back again!

Our party of two patiently waited in line to put our name on the waitlist. We took note of who was standing in front and behind of us as we were standing in line for 5-10minutes. It was 5:25pm as we neared closer to the hostesses desk, and we were able to put our name on the waitlist around 5:27pm with a quoted wait time of 20-25 minutes. Great! Not too bad of a wait and we're probably able to order for happy hour as it ends at 6pm. Our party of two waits near the dog park that is 20 feet from the front door for our quoted wait time of 20-25 minutes and wonder why we haven't received a text yet. We check back in to the hostesses desk and notice she sat two separate parties that were behind us in the waitlist line. I tell the host, "Hey why did you sit those two parties before us? We patiently waited and now it's past 6pm." She proceeded to say, "Oh well they called ahead and made reservations. You put your name down, remember?" I told her, "No, they were in line behind us to put their names down AFTER we put our names down, r...
