I don't know what has changed exactly but MBM has gone downhill significantly in the past several years. I initially started eating there in 2009 when I moved to Dana point. I went there religiously. The place was super laid-back, the staff was friendly and remembered who you were/what you ordered etc. A real local type of place. Couple years later they remodeled and that seems to be when things kind of started to change. Not sure who's been running this place the last few years, but it's gone straight downhill. My family used to get sandwiches here every weekend. The deli workers talk rude and disrespectful and cannot complete our sandwich orders. They gave us wads of cash instead. Very bizarre.
