Horrible management for events. I have heard both good and bad things about the Montdale Country Club. The good reviews are great, but the bad reviews say a lot about how business is handled. I have been there many times since I was a child. It is a nice venue and wanted to use it for my baby shower. Sadly, my trust was lost in the management and the woman who I had to have contact with at the venue (Marie). She was extremely difficult to work with and did not seem to want my business. We are planning a large shower with as many guests as a wedding... in the off season! I was thinking she would have been thrilled to have the business. The prices she gave me were great, but she would not return my calls or emails. Also, I had wanted to meet and tour the club BEFORE agreeing to have the shower there. When I said I wanted a contract before putting any money down, she immediately got defensive.
