Moo Tea in Alhambra

Not quite sure what the hype with the purple yam drink is, it's definitely unique but not really something to be wowed about. Basically boba, pudding and purple yam placed along the sides of the cup with milk. We also had the lychee yakult foam, again unique but nothing really special.

One of the best tea house I've tried! Their purple yum tea is highly recommended! I wouldn't mind driving 15 miles every time I crave for their drinks

Wow, I am pleasantly surprised by Moo Tea! Honestly speaking, I really dont care for ube or purple yam much and I rather eat original Korean pumpkin sweet potato any day but I really enjoyed the Purple Yam Fresh Milk prepared by Moo Tea. Even when I lived in Hawaii where ube is almost everywhere, I really didnt care for it. I actually didnt like it from the looks of it because it just looks unappetizing to me because its PURPLE (I do like the color purple because I am ARMY) and is too dry. But!! Purple Yam Fresh Milk has completely changed my preference! OMG, I really really loved it! I was surprised how generous they are with the purple yam in your drink because its a whole lot. After you give it a good shake and is mixed well thoroughly, it becomes heavenly! Its super creamy and yet not too sweet nor overpowering. Price was less than $5 which is very affordable knowing most of drinks nowadays are over $5 almost everywhere you go. My mom loves sweet potatoes and she hardly ever drinks anything besides coffee but I think she will definitely enjoy this drink like myself. I am going to bring her here and I have told a few of my friends about this place already. Even if you dont care for ube like me, please go try it because it will definitely change that! I am going back again on my days off which is in a couple days. I am going to be greedy and get 2 for myself! Oh, one drink will make you very full but its that good!...
