Mosaic Restaurant has a prime location with plenty of accessible parking in Richmond's River Road Shopping Center. The restaurant interior is fully accessible, and outdoor seating on the sidewalk is plentiful. I've visited this casual establishment many times because I often shop in this Center while visiting family. My overall impression is the place is OK, but managed differently it could be a solid locale go-to eatery. Price is mid-range, but food offerings, meant to be trendy, fluctuate between good to forgettable. Service is sketchy and my overall impressions is too few wait staff who lack training and are mismanaged. The outdoor eating area is untidy and poorly organized. Shopping center foot traffic and customers walking to the establishment's front door pass between rows of tables. Some sun-shades need repair and serving stations could be better placed. The sidewalk flooring should be frequently, but inconspicuously swept to avoid the buildup of trash.
