Mountain Pies in Anchorage

Mountain pies were at Double Shovel. Got the pierogi pizza, it was delicious. Creamy mashed potatoes, red onion, whole cloves of garlic, cheese blend. Crust was perfect. Great for a meal for one or an appetizer to share. Will definitely be getting it again.

Ordered from Mountain Pies outside Girdwood Brewery. It was my worst experience ever. We ordered food and were told the wait would be 40mins. It took over an hour to get the food. This is fine and I understand they were short handed and had lot of orders. What makes this the worst experience is when I asked for a few extra plates, I was told by the front lady that "the plates cost money" and "do you have money?". Most offensive, rude and disrespectful customer experience for me ever. Especially after I spent $60 on food and added $10 in tip. This is my first time leaving a negative review for anyone and I hope others have a better experience than me.

We stopped into Girwood Brewery and Mountain Pies was there serving. We ordered the veggie pizza and the butter garlic and dry rub wings first (we ended up ordering more after we ate) and it was amazing! It was served piping hot and the service was great! I loved the wings the best but would definitely order all of it again! My friend went back and got the Stromboli and definitely said it was delicious and very filling! Will come back next time we are in Alaska!
