This is the third time my husband and I have been turned away from eating on the hibachi side. The first time it was EMPTY and they said that we need a reservation for hibachi to be seated in that area however they could accommodate us on the regular side. The second I called and they said that we needed to be a party larger than two. This time on a Sunday they couldn't tell me when the next available reservation would be. Over it. Will not be back.

Really sad to say this place has gone downhill. Have been going since it was at the old location and used to be great. Went in for a birthday very early and was told they could put in an extension on a hibachi table or wait. In these pandemic times, made sense to wait and said we would so we didn't have to sit with others. Ordered dinner and was told for our family of 4 we had to order at least 3 hibachi meals. Uh, what? We ordered 2, several sushi rolls and alcohol plus kids meal. So I 86d the sushi and ordered another hibachi to satisfy them. Then they sat a family with is with kids that were clearly sick. Not sure why people would bring sick kids but we asked to move tables. They said they'd bring the hibachi over from that table when cooked. Uh no, please just make it in the kitchen, which they finally did. Just a really poor service experience- saw a couple leave after waiting for around 15 min for someone just to greet them. Sigh.

Cozy little restuarant with many hibachi tables complete a unique bar.I ordered takeout for lunch. They had an extensive menu. Choose Sushi #1 which is the chef's choice of 6 sushi + california roll and your choice of miso soup or ginger salad for $20.Must say I was quite UNIMPRESSED when I opened my lunch. With having well over 30+ different sushi options it seems like the chef decided to be BASIC and lazy and provided me with only 6 very UNORIGINAL sushi pieces. Although I could tell the ingredients were fresh, I was disappointed to have such a bland lunch. I told the lady I was open to try anything...raw/cooked...salmon or tuna...etc. whatever the chef wanted to prepare. And he prepared the basics. Very disappointed. And not a good first impression of your "so-called sushi skills".While I was waiting a gentleman walked in and asked me if they had a paper to-go menu. I did not see one and the staff were hardly at the front of the restaurant, so he decided he would look online and perhaps order online. I suggest placing paper to-go menus at the hostess stand and displaying one on the windows of your entrance for people's convenience. It seems like you may have lost another potential customer, because you did not have an easy to grab menu and nobody was upfront. Will I give this place another chan...
