The nandos choice is superb . Be sure to purchase slaw. And... get the hot & garlic & herb sauce. The garlic bread yummy !

Nando's Peri-Peri is a South African chicken restaurant now all over the DC area. This location is in Old Town Alexandria and is two levels, making it great for groups. You order up front from a massive menu that includes grilled chicken on the bone and great sides. I always order the grilled chicken sandwich that comes on a garlic roll with coleslaw. For sides, the fries with peri-peri mayo is to die for. They have a Coca-Cola freestyle machine and alcohol too (try their sangria!).
