Five stars on Sunday night; one star on Wednesday...what a difference (!). The server can make/break the experience...TL/DR: Sunday night's server left us with a warm glow and pleasant memories. Wednesday night's server left us feeling bitter and let-down...Same restaurant!Sunday night we had a wonderful (non sommelier) server who was attentive and engaging/enthusiastic about the wine. Took him up on suggested tastings and grateful that we did (despite bringing our own bottle of Chianti). Thanks to him, we tried some new wines and found a gem (2013 Alban, Syrah).
