I was surprised but not shocked that we had an issue at Amity Ales. The management there is absolutely terrible!! My first visit was during a very difficult time. I was trying to plan a dinner for after my 25 yr old daughter's funeral. They were unwilling to even think about accommodating the 50 people I said we would have. And they were not kind at all about it. A year and a half later we went back. We were the first table to order at that timeframe then a group of 6 who seemed to be regulars sat down and ordered. Their appetizers came out and we still waited for a long time for our burger and grilled chicken sandwich. When it finally came, my husband's burger was fine but his fries were dead and my grilled chicken club was cold and like shoe leather and there was a 1/2 pc of bacon on it. The entire time we waited and the fact that it was obvious there was a problem, the manager stared at us and never said a word. He walked past and never said a word and went into the kitchen. The waitress was lovely and super apologetic! She even went as far as to ask the chef to come out because the manager REFUSED to even do anything. The chef came out, apologized profusely that he had a new guy in the kitchen he should have watched him more closely and offered to make me an epic sandwich, no charge.
