Anthony's Italian Restaurant in Plumsted Township

Best pizza i've had! The grandmas slice is something special. Very friendly staff and a warm atmosphere.

Anthony's is 5 Stars all day long.  We did a pick-up order yesterday afternoon, the food was fantastic, authentic Italian cuisine.  My wife had the Shrimp Parmigiana -- she loved the dish, it was extremely tasty ( I had a few bites myself, planning to order the Shrimp Parmigiana on my next visit).  I went with a Pepperoni & Cheese Stromboli, it was very filling, really hit the spot.  My Father-In-Law had the Chicken Francese, he also enjoyed his meal, it was excellent.  And my Mother-In-Law had the Eggplant Rollantini -- it was stellar. Sauce was spot on, bread that came with our meals was very fresh. Portions sizes were also very generous, our total bill only came to $64, which was an extremely good value considering we had plenty of leftovers for a 2nd meal.  The owner was a nice guy, very friendly & personable (he gave my Father-In-Law some cheesecake, and thank him for his military service).  I can't say enough about how impressed I was with the food served at Anthony's Italian Restaurant in New Egypt, I highly recommend you giving them a try.  We live in Connecticut, if I was local, I'd be a regular weekly customer, for sure.  I can't find places like this in northern Connecticut.  We are certainly going to drop into Anthony's the next time we visit the In-Laws in Jersey, looking forward to it !
