We tried 2 days in a row to eat at Big Daddy’s with no success. The first night we were turned away due to the restaurant closing at 9:00 pm. Please understand that we where turned away at 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. We tried to return on Sunday afternoon but the manager/owner I’m not sure which was so rude that we decided not to wait the 50 minutes with 1/2 of the restaurant empty. We had been to the restaurant on previous trips to Pigeon Forge and had a wonderful experience and food. It is unfortunate that we did not have the same experience this time. However we did go to the Big Daddy’s down the street and the service was awesome.

Today we dined at Big Daddy's Pizzeria because we had a craving for pizza and heard great things about this establishment. My wife and decided on an appetizer of their bruschetta and an entree of their Smoky Mountain Cheesesteak pizza per recommendation from our waitress. The bruschetta was fantastic. The homemade bread was delicious complimented by the char on the outside from the wood fire oven. The topping ingredients tasted very fresh and created a good combination of flavors. The Parmesan cheese was not melted as I would have liked. It definitely would have kicked this dish up to another level. The server informed us, to our delight, that the bread was refillable since we had a lot of the topping mixture left which was a huge plus.
