We tried Big Dave's based on Yelp reviews. They were spot on. They don't always carry beef brisket but today they did. We ordered 2 beef brisket sandwiches with Carolina sauce for lunch. The brisket was just a tad dry. Just a little bit too much time in the smoker. It came with some burned edges, which some people might find objectionable. In the spots where there there was a bit too much carbon, I simply took the burned bits off. I liked the tangy Carolina sauce which is slightly sweet. The sauce runs, so be sure to get a lot of napkins. The brioche-type buns were good, too. My husband was very happy with the meal. It was my treat and he was also probably happy that I paid for lunch. I think each sandwich was about $10. With a Diet Pepsi, the entire lunch cost $24, which was fine. Good brisket never runs cheap. Big Dave's BBQ is housed in a little red building with outdoor picnic tables, a couple of kiddie rides and a smoker all locate...
