I wanted to try a new casino out and this was the closest one that I haven't tried yet. They had $10 free slot play for new members and a promotion where they would pay you back any losses on your first day in 2 weeks. Cool. So I did end up losing a little on my first day. No problem since they will pay me back right? 2 weeks go by, nothing. 1 month goes by, nothing. At this point I was wondering when they would notify me that I could come back to play again. I called them and asked when I could come back to play my losses. They checked my card and said I only played $30 and the minimum is $40. Wtf? No one ever told me that. Oh well. It is what it is. I used to love coming here just for the dinner a couple of years ago. Since the remodel and the new restaurant meal prices are very high especially when entree has one price and sides are extra cost per side and portions are a lot less. I'm very disappointed in the way the menu has changed and I don't think I will continue coming here for the food any more nor would I recommend it either.

Had lunch today Cahuilla Casino Hotel's Ribbonwood Grill. Despite some of the bad reviews here I had a pretty great experience! I came in for lunch. I did not have my mask with me (excited to get back to normal). I was presented with a complimentary mask so I would not have to go back to my car. I took a quick trip around the casino and noted the cigarette smell was not as bad as it was before. I am not a smoker so this was a big perk for me!. Eventually I found the Ribbonwood Grill, immediately got a seat and was attended by my waitress. She offered popular choices for entrees, sandwiches, and burgers. I took her recommendation for the Philly cheese steak. I opted for the 2 dollar side salad because lord knows I have been eating plenty of junk food during this quarantine. It was notably fresh, hand chopped, and prepared. The food came out in about 10 minutes, was right. and pretty tasty. If I had to provide any criticism is that the location feels like an after thought. Being just outside of the casino in a corridor made it feel less substantial than a "real" restaurant. Prices felt a little steep too. With a tip my total came to around 25 bucks. No alcohol. for a sandwich, salad, and soda. Over all I feel like it is a great addition to the Anza valley as the sequestered restaurant area, despite feeling a little low-key, did not have a cigarette aroma,...
