It's time to update my review from 2014. I occasionally visit this restaurant with this being my second time this year. Last weekend I ordered the shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas and charro beans for $16.50. First to come out were the chips and salsas. I have always thought Casa Imperial has some of the better chips and salsas in Houston and I still feel that way. Nice and crunchy chips with a deliciously red salsa and nice avocado salsa. I eat too many of them. The entree arrived about 10 minutes later. The small bowl of charro beans had plenty of content and flavor. The fajitas were very good too but I wish they had given me a little more onion. Table service was prompt and attentive. Casa Imperial is an above average Tex Amex restaurant with a big menu and plenty of parking in front.
